"Love! Love! LOVE! One of my fave place to kayak. I believe it's 15 an hour for a single. The water is brackish so not for swimming. There is also a playground and lots of parking. There is also an entrance fee for the park per vehicle. I believe 8 dollars."

"I grew up going to West Lake Park as a kid, and while there have been big changes, it still retains its beautiful landscape, only more updated. My toddler enjoys the new and improved version since I was kid. They have a whole new modern playground and a splash pad which she loves. The area seems secure and is well-maintained in terms of cleanliness. They still have the basketball court, volleyball, paddle and tennis courts, and a huge open field surrounded by trees and grass, all overlooking the Hollywood Water Tower. The entrance fee is very reasonable. The park definitely has made significant improvements. Highly recommended for family outings!"
