Snorkeling near Waikiki besides Queens Beach?
Was gonna go to Hanauma Bay, but reservation spots were all snatched up. Looking for any spots near Waikiki area or Hanauma Bay Area. Don’t have a car so can’t afford to Uber to far places like Electric Beach or Sharks Cove unfortunately.

Oahu snorkeling locations?
Hi everyone! I'm traveling to Oahu this summer and am staying in Waikiki. Does anyone know any good snorkeling spots in that area? Or would you recommend going somewhere else on the island? thanks!
Snorkelling locations during the winter in Oahu
Aloha, Does anyone have any recommendations for beaches to snorkel at in Oahu during the winter months other than Hanauma Bay? I'll be in Oahu in a few days. Thank you! Edit: I've read that the North shore isn't safe in the winter and it seems that quite a few good spots are…

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Kaimana Beach for its calm waters, easy parking, and the magical opportunity to see sea turtles. The Waikiki Aquarium is appreciated for its affordability and diverse exhibits, though some find it a bit repetitive. Facilities like showers are a convenient bonus.
"Kaimana is my default beach. Parking is easy, usually on the meters at $.50/hour; farthest I've parked is on the other side of the park on Paki Ave. with an easy stroll across the grass (if you're not packing heavy).
There's a lifeguard from 8am ~ 6pm. It's shallow and sandy for the kids. I put on my mask and fins and cruise up along the reef to the windsock and come back on the Elks' side in about 40 minutes. My favorite thing is to see the turtles.
The bathrooms in the Natatorium have full showers in there. No stalls on the boys' side; I've heard there are shower stalls on the girls' but haven't verified that."

"A small but might aquarium! I grew up coming here and I still enjoy visiting. It’s one of my favorites. They have amazing exhibits and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommended visiting during the week during the school year for a quiet visit. The price is great too. As of Oct 2023, admission for a non-Hawaiian resident was $12 and a senior was $5."

"Sorry to say but it got boring. Almost every tank has a repeat kind of fish. Barely anything to see. Once you enter they ask you to take picture and by the end of your whole adventure you get to choose between 1 photo which is $20 and the whole book which includes 3 photos for $40. It’s good to have knowledge about the marine life in Hawai’i but lower your expectations when you enter."
