"Carpenter Dam Park is a very nice, quiet, relaxing park to spend time. It is a very good fishing area, there is a boat ramp, and some picnic tables. Unfortunately, there are portapotties down there, but some actual park bathrooms right up the hill at Entergy Park. Many people consider them the same park, because they're right next to each other. The water is pretty low this time of year, but is usually up at a very nice level the rest of the year. So, if you notice that in the pictures, it usually never looks like that except during the mid-end of winter."
