Hot Springs and/or Bentonville Rain Sensitivity
Planning a group trip to either Coler or Northwoods this weekend but not familiar with either. The Friday rain forecast has me a bit concerned with 90% rain coverage for both cities and intermittent thunderstorms. Both locations clear overnight and sunny all weekend, so the…

Running trails
I'm planning a trip to Hot Springs later this month and I'd like to run at some point while I'm there. Where is your favorite paved running path around town?
Recommendations for activities, places to eat, stay or just general advice for my 2 friends and I (all 18) to do when we visit Hot Springs in later July?
I've heard good things about like Devils Den, the watchtower, gangster museum, and places like the Ohio Club. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the well-maintained and beautifully scenic Northwoods Trails, highlighting the enjoyable green and blue trails suitable for various skill levels. The stunning lake views and forest surroundings are a major draw. Some find the climbs strenuous without an e-bike, and recommend protective gear for advanced trails.
"Awesome and beautiful trail. Well maintained. Now we don’t have to travel North as far to mountain bike."

"My son and I visited the Northwoods waterworks trails in 2023 and had a blast! (Son was 11, I was 38). I’m not a very experienced rider, but I had a great time on the green trails, and an absolute thrill on the blues! I would not recommend the blue trails to inexperienced downhill MTB, as they do have some small jumps and steep downhill portions.
The only downside for me is that there’s no lift. It’s quite the steep hike to get to the top with a bike. Others had e-bikes, but we were pushing ours. It was worth the effort once we got to the top, though! Full face helmets, gloves, and padded gear highly recommended for blues (and obviously black trails). Regular helmet should be fine on greens."

"Absolute blast.
The trails are meticulous & the signage makes finding all the treasures a breeze.
Leg torching climbs & flowy descents through beautiful forests, rivers & lakes."
