The Manasquan Reservoir is currently experiencing historic lows due to the ongoing drought plaguing New Jersey. The Resevoir has dropped below 50% capacity, a low never before seen in it’s 34 year history. Beaches & islands have emerged in a transformed Reservoir landscape.

"Good place for running, biking , hiking or even riding your horse. Fishing & boats for recreational purposes and a dock for a boat launch are available. I used this facility for casual mountain biking and also when I was training for marathons.
Some really beautiful scenery and usually not very crowded. Small concession stand and vending machines. Clean bathrooms are a plus."
