What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the spectacular, rewarding views from Humpback Rocks, making the strenuous climb well worth the effort. While the direct trail is steep, a longer loop offers a more moderate option. It's a popular spot, so arriving early is recommended to avoid crowds and fully enjoy the natural beauty.
"A challenging hike if you go up the longer way (complete loop) that is a total of around 4.2 miles. It turns from white marker to blue marker. The views at the peak are amazing because you are so high up."
David Kim
"Nice hike, felt longer than posted but thats
probably because it was all uphill until the top. Definitely worth it for the views! Can get pretty busy so id recommended going early"
Allison Swoboda
"Love this hike. It’s under a mile but it goes straight up. So if you had a good workout the day before your legs will really be burning. There is a longer loop to go and connection to the Appalachian trail. There is no longer a back trail to come down so you can make it easier. You can bring dogs. Plenty of parking. Picnic area. Beautiful views and I can literally see my house since I live 10 minutes away. Great for a quick hike or just to get away for a few hours. Lay back on the rocks and enjoy the view and breeze"
