"Highly engaging docent. Personable friendly and informative. It is a small place on a very tight budget. Yes the dioramas are amateurish who cares. The information is there. The cabin/home of additions is typical of late 1700s into to 1800s. The bones of the home/store were able to be saved and this is a very nice look back hundreds of years into the past history of the Huntersville area.
Fun to see how the Latta plantation history weaves into Torrance/Torrence history. Our area was built on the backs of pioneers.
Stop by and learn about the past.
