"Photographed a wedding here in October, and absolutely loved it! The Weeden House is a beautiful historical home, perfect for a backyard wedding under the pecan trees. It gets gorgeous light in the evening, is close to downtown for photos around Huntsville, and is one of those rare venues that has equally nice getting ready suites for both the bride and the groom. Parking is limited, so be aware of that as you make your preparations!

"I first visited on a walking tour. I saw much of the house and enjoyed the history of it. This time I was there for a celebration of life that had been planned for the backyard. Rain caused a change in plans. The parlor worked out well and I understand that staff offered the family the option of changing to the next day. The family opted to keep the original time because many guests were from out of town. The reception after the service in the dining room worked out well too."
