What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Hyde Park Drive-In for its nostalgic charm and unique experience, making it a great spot for dates and family outings. While the theatre shows its age, the digital projection and sound are modern. Some find the snack bar slightly less appealing than its sister location, but the overall sentiment is positive, with many appreciating the chance to support a historic drive-in.
"The Hyde Park drive- in is the oldest of two operating in the area. Like its sister theatre the "overlook drive - in " they show the latest movie releases. Both theatres have digital projection and sound. The Hyde Park drive - in is showing it's age, but its still a nice place to relax. My wife and I usually get dinner from the snack bar. My personal feeling the snack bar is better at the overlook. I want both drive - ins to stay in operation that's why I go to their snack bars. The monies made there belongs to the theatre. Which ever drive - in you choose I'm sure you'll have a good time. For bigger movie releases I strongly suggest going early so you can get your favorite parking spot. ENJOY THE SHOW!"

"Since regular movie theaters were closed because of covid. Decided to try a drive in theater. Had a great time. You can bring your own food and drinks or you can try the concession stand. Burgers were good."
