What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Hyrum State Park for its beautiful reservoir, warm swimming waters, and friendly staff. Lakeside camping is a major draw, offering direct water access. However, some find the rising prices steep, and the rocky shoreline can be a drawback for beachgoers.
"Great lake to swim and enjoy while camping. We were in spot 22 with our trailer and there are stairs right down to the lake. Unfortunately the water is low right now, there is a big gap from the stairs down to the very rocky shoreline.
I said this was great because we were able to navigate it just fine, even with our kid on crutches but I do think many people would find this to be pretty terrible.
Once in the water it doesn't matter where you cam from. We paddled a cross the lake, watched a beaver work on his home, enjoyed warm water temps, and loved the camping environment."

"Second time staying overnight only while on my way to Lewiston, UT to sell my handmade jewelry at the Little Red Bike Ride for cancer. Nice small place, with restroom and separate shower facilities. View of water & hills if you’re lucky to score a lakeside spot. Each site has a picnic table and a fire ring. I would use it again. I reserved it on Reserve America."

"Awesome customer service from the employees at this park. We are new to the jet ski owner world and needed help. They were kind and knowledgeable. Love how beautiful and well-kept this park is too!"
