Deadman's cove at Cape Disappointment, Washington State. [OC][4032×1960]
We were there the first week of October and it was totally fogged up. We drove the coast from depoe bay up to Long Beach and it was pea soup the entire time. It was still beautiful. https://imgur.com/a/bzJWUM3/

Deadmans Cove last night.
Grew up there, thanks for a reminder. Not reccomended for tourists but climbing the rock and jumping off into a wave, when the tide was right, was a lot of scary fun. Definitely a right of passage for Ilwaco kids! Great clip!

Deadman’s cove at Cape disappointment
That's a fun spot to go in the summer when the tide is out. You can safely climb pretty far out onto the rocks, and there are little tidepools.

"Deadman's Cove is really pretty..I wasn't able to go down to the water it was too steep for me. I would have loved to go down there before bad knees. It's a beautiful hike all the way to the lighthouse. I would highly recommend checking out Deadman's Cove & the whole hike in the surrounding area."

"A stunning view of the cove from the trail and from down on the beach. The trail getting to the cove is quite steep and difficult to traverse so be prepared! The small beach also seems to fill quickly and parking is very limited. Once finished at the beach you can continue up the hill to see the lighthouse."
