"My wife and I visited the Immokalee Pioneer Museum at Roberts Ranch on a whim. We weren't sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised. The museum is mostly outdoor with several buildings you can enter including the main house. This museum can take as little as an hour to explore or more if you take your time visiting all the exhibits and understand the history. We were impressed with the amount of preservation and the ability to enter the stable and main house. The main home was well cared for and had what appeared to be period correct furnishings. It was great reading about the history of Roberts Ranch and their family. This would be a great place for a picnic or gathering, not sure if it needs to be reserved. We did ask about taking family photos and the young lady at the front said yes, but it may need to be reserved. Best of all, the admission was free. Definitely a must visit for SWFL."
