There are bathrooms and many seating areas. There is handicap parking also available. When there, take note of the mosaic map that stretches from inside the visitor center doors to outside in front. Another treat of living in San Diego."

"Very helpful ranger. We came back and rode our bikes on the trails which she recommended and we had a great time watching nature and the helicopters in training. The only reason to not get 5 stars is they were closed the morning that we came back. The Google route had us trying to enter the military base, so we needed to find an alternate route using 7th Street."
