"In august the visitors center is open Fri to sun we got there around 1:30 and the visitors center was open. They have a bag of feed for a dollar and is cash preferred. The bathrooms were well maintained and donations appreciated. We learned the devastation that nature can have and a new found respect for it’s history. Such a treat to check the inside. Many places to sit and soak up the scenery."
