The Forty-Foot Hole, with its refreshing cool water and small waterfalls, is a standout feature. "This is by far our favorite trail. There are rocks to climb, but nothing we can't do with our kids. Climbing down to the 40 foot hole makes the trail worth it! It's so nice & cool, and the little waterfalls down there are beautiful!"
kristie wilson
"Went out to do the Kite & Bison Trail combo, this is where the Kite trail crosses over the "dam" to connect to the bison trail, all in about 7.5Miles. Unfortunately we got completely rained out and ended up only doing the Kite trail. The hike was nice and moderately challenging but too short for an all day hike. All in it was still good fun with family and friends."
Randhier Ramharakh
"This was a fantastic little hike for my husband and I. It could easily be done in about an hour but we took our time and had lunch while we were out there (remember- if you pack it in, pack it out…don’t leave your garbage!). Absolutely beautiful scenery. The only animals we saw were a couple vibrantly colored lizards, but we were ok with that!"
