What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Rocky Mountains for their awe-inspiring natural beauty, abundant wildlife, and diverse hiking opportunities. The sheer scale and grandeur of the mountain landscapes are frequently highlighted as a major draw. However, some find the crowds, especially in popular national parks during peak season, to be overwhelming, and the need for advance reservations can be a planning hurdle.
"Beautiful view of 4th Lake from the top of Rocky Point. The hike is short at around .7 miles one way. Lots of families enjoying the hike and the view from the top. Ample parking is available at the trailhead."
David Terwilliger
"Easy mountain comparatively. Up hill for a half mile and nothing too steep. Nice 180 views at the top. Surprisingly there wernt as many people as I thought there would be on a nice saturday afternoon. I was thinking id be climbing in a theme park or school type line. If you are short on time or want something easy, this ones for you. Black bear is in the same parking lot and If you are an average hiker, you can easily do both in a few hours. Throw in rondaxxe too if ya wanna do all three. Only gave it five stars because of the ability to do them both and itd make for a fun day. Either one alone is a bit bland and small for my taste."
Jon
"This was a perfect hike for our family (kids ages 5 and 8). It was our kids maiden voyage and they found it fun and challenging. The view at the top was great. We had a great day ❤️"
