What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find Lakeview Cemetery to be a peaceful and well-maintained resting place, particularly notable as the final home of Rod Serling. Many describe the visit as a meaningful pilgrimage, appreciating the quiet, remote atmosphere. While finding specific graves can be challenging due to less clear section markers, the overall experience is considered a positive and soulful one for those seeking remembrance or a moment of quiet reflection.
"My grandmother graduated with Rod and my uncle was an artist so we have the yearbook he's in and an autograph made out to my uncle. I have half my arm tattooed with The Twilight Zone art and Rods signature. So suffice to say he means the world to me. Going to pay my respects was a pilgrimage that meant the world to me. The cemetery is so remote and quiet. I know he rests easy there with his wife. I left a pair of my dads broken glasses on his grave as a token, because my dad had just passed and "Time Enough At Last" is my favorite episode. If you go i promise it's good for the soul."

"Well maintained cemetery with a famous celebrity. Rod Serling. Nice to be about to pay respects to a man who made a profound difference in life. Open 24 hrs per day"
Christa L (American Girl Doll)
"Quiet little country cemetery. Like many people, I came here to pay tribute to Rod Serling. His grave is in the back. It would be hard to find if it wasn't the most decorated stone in the cemetery."
