"Wonderful (FREE) art museum on the University of Iowa campus. Stanley has a fantastic collection. The museum is not very large, so it is perfect for a visit with kids and nice for a non-daunting visit as an adult.
They do regular programming here for youth and adults. When we visited there was a scavenger hunt oriented game for kids. The staff was very professional and friendly. They made us feel really welcome.
One thing to note - food and drink are not allowed on the collection level. They have lockers free of charge to store your belongings."
