"I visited this lake for fishing. I have to give you heads up to be prepared to park and walk some distance with your gear before you settle somewhere desirable. It would be a good idea to take some chairs to sit on and maybe a little pull-wagon to carry your stuff. Although we didn’t have much luck, but there were other people who did well. There is a small shop selling baits and some essentials and they are very friendly and informative.
As of the day I’m writing the review, the parking is $5 for all day. The lake is open for fishing only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM."

Lake has receded significantly but there's still bass in there if you find the right spot and you're patient enough. $5 parking and no license requirements."
