We flew from Orange County, NY to train at Great Park Ice, and it was worth every mile. The facility is incredible — modern, clean, and designed for skaters and families alike. But the real draw is Rafael Arutyunyan’s legendary academy, home to Olympic and World Champions. Meeting Rafael himself and watching him coach was unforgettable, and his program is both inspiring and personal — even visiting skaters feel part of it.
In just 10 days, my 10-year-old daughter went from struggling with her Axel to landing it consistently again. The coaching team — Rafael, Todd, Andrei, Galina, Denys, Dani, Nadia, Matt, and Justin — was phenomenal. Huge thanks to Jacqueline Palmore, whose seamless coordination made the experience possible.
