The staffs were super friendly and there is also friends of library book store in basement, where books are sold for nominal value $1-3 or less. Please carry any State ID or passport to get your membership. Plus point - there is a beautiful garden in front of library, variety of roses and flower arch, perfect for photography 🙂"

"Katie Wheeler library is gorgeous! surrounded by the beautiful garden, located in the historic house of Irvine family, it is a bridge between legacy and the future. The Friends Book Store located in the basement, I think the space is the biggest in all the OC public libraries in Irvine. There are so many used audiobooks in the friends book store, up to $5/each, it is a very attractive deal if you can find the ines you like. Also, Nancy in the bookstore is very helpful."
