The Jerome Grand Hotel sits on a hilltop in the Black Hills of Yavapai County. In a historic mining town that had over 15,000 people living in it at one time, with now only a little over 450. Incredible history and views we won’t forget. We will be back to document more aerial views of Jerome. #phoenixdroneguy 🚁 FAA107 UAS Pilot DM for business info. #phoenixdroneguy #Arizona #drone #drone...

Reviews Summary

Visitors often praise the Jerome Grand Hotel for its unique history, stunning hilltop views, and the palpable sense of the paranormal. The staff's historical knowledge and the hotel's atmospheric charm are frequently highlighted. However, some guests find the access roads challenging and parking difficult, and dining at the on-site restaurant can be pricey.

"We had two adjoining balcony rooms reserved for Monday night. My mother woke up that morning with what we thought was dehydration and heat exhaustion. I immediately called to cancel. I asked to have a manager CALL me to discuss any type of refund. I did not receive a call but an email from who I believe is the manager. I offered to send a copy of my mother’s medical report. I offered to accept a mid week reservation credit. I understand policies but these are clearly extenuating circumstances and I had no idea that my
Mother would get so sick I was told that cancellations must occur in advance and that she does hope that my mother feels better. Even a partial credit would have been acceptable but I lost the entire amount on both rooms because they were adjoining. BTW… she does not. It is Thursday and she still hospitalized, has a relatively high fever (102.4) etc. I want to personally thank the hotel and manager for being so understanding! You have definitely lost a customer"

"OK, we didn’t stay here, but we hiked up here because it was on like some kind of like things to do in Jerome. And the cool thing is is this place was like used to be a hospital and I was expecting like this grand hotel but it really wasn’t that grand because the main entrance is where the emergency room used to be.

But once I understood that it was actually really cool and the two ladies at the counter were the coolest people to talk to. They knew so much history we chatted for like 45 minutes. It felt like just about history there in Jerome and in the hospital and about ghosts and about giant centipedes. …

Anyways, I think we wanna stay here sometime. It’s a little more money but I can see why because it’s such an amazing view and such historical building. Definitely an experience staying there.

The restaurant next-door — I think it’s called the as —seemed to be pretty cool but I’d recommend going for lunch instead of dinner. Dinner is a bit pricey, but lunch is kind of reasonable. The interior was cool and great views while eating. They sort of turned that part of the hospital into it looks like an old tavern"

"The Jerome Grand Hotel is an experience. The rooms are nice, clean, and unique with all of the old features. The hilltop views are amazing. The only negative that I have is the road to get in and out of the hotel. We could not go up the regular road and ended up going on the back road which was a scary experience to say the least. The parking situation once we got to the hotel also left something to be desired.

Having said that, I was very pleased to have had two ghostly experiences while I stayed at the hotel. Although I will recommend the hotel because it was very nice, I will not stay there again because of the road and parking situation."
