"Really neat little park and waaaaaay more than I expected! There's a beautiful stream, tons to look at, several trails, picnic areas... You can veer from the paths and look at the area without a fear of getting lost. Some paths are gravel and some are just ...paths. We made our hike into 4 miles and stretched that to about 2 hours because we got sidetracked a few times looking at different things in the forest. I'd advise wearing comfy shoes and bringing a water bottle. There's picnic areas and trash cans throughout but no fountains."

"What a wonderful park! I've seldomly visited this park while living in PA my entire life. Now that I have lived out of state in the city - it's a wonderful place we always visit to get back to nature and unwind when in town. The trail is a good mix of difficulty that my 4 year old is able to do it. Parking can be limited and lack of facilities are the only downfalls. We usually hike and visit the coffee shop and bookstore across the street. Great way to spend a morning."
