Scandinavian family visiting florida
Hello my family is traveling to Florida next month. Im wondering if anyone here has any tips on what to do and see while we are there. We are going to Jupiter, Miami, Key west.
Are there any beaches to see turtles hatching in the early mornings?
It’s turtle season, and I was wondering if there are any beaches where it’s common to see turtle hatchlings coming out of their eggs Obviously we wouldn’t go near, but it could be cool to watch from a distance with binoculars.
🏖️ Beach Day Combo
The beach is directly across the street, perfect for a post-turtle visit swim or stroll.

Jupiter with kids
Hey all, Baseball or no, we’re keeping our plans to be in Jupiter next month. I’m looking for non-baseball activities to keep kids (ages 7, 5) and us parents busy and having fun. Based on past trips, plus a little googling, so far I’ve come up with: Dining: -Little Moir’s Food…

The free entry, coupled with the opportunity to see rescued turtles and enjoy park amenities, makes it a highly recommended stop. "My family had an absolutely amazing time here. The staff care so deeply for turtles and treat them with trust and dignity. I recommend stopping by to support the cause and grab a quick snack before hitting the beach!"

"This is a hidden gem in the area. You can’t ask for friendlier staff, it is free to enter with an area to make a suggested donation. If you are in the area with a family I would suggest making the trip as it is central to a lot of attractions. It actively is treating animals so there is no guarantee what you will see but there is always turtles needing help. Take a moment to walk inside and see the interactive display for the kids to play with. The new covers over the tank area creates a nice amount of shade."

"Great place to visit for free, donations are encouraged. See turtles up close and many other tanks of sealife. It will only take an hour or 2 to get through the whole place. Out back there's a huge park with covered picnic tables, BBQ grills for your use and a large playground area for kids. There are full bathroom facilities and an outdoor shower. Directly across the street from beach access for a dip or stroll on the beach. Great day for families or anyone!"
