"Trail was pretty overgrown, especially the further in you go. Muddy, a couple of good views. We realized we did not start at the right trailhead and turned around after 2 miles. Lo and behold there was a cop waiting for us ready to hand us a ticket. He had marked our tire with the time and told us we made it by 5 minutes. Also gave us a lecture about how the pull off was not a recreational parking lot but for emergency vehicles and disabled cars. I don't know, recommend not parking here due to the hassle."

"Google location was accurate for trailhead. Signage for trailhead was good. Trail was in good shape, nice views and cool jungle scenery. Our family of four hiked for about 70 minutes before turning back, having not reached the waterfall. Our kids had enough and wanted to go to the beach. Upon return to the parking area (small pulloff from the highway for a scenic view), there was a cop present who was making sure nobody left a vehicle for more than two hours (otherwise tow you away), which is pretty lame since the hike apparently takes more than two hours. The cop was a grumpy douchebag, so be prepared for that possibility."
