What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Mayors' Riverfront Park offers a mixed bag of experiences. While the Kalamazoo Growlers baseball games are a highlight for many, praised for their fun atmosphere and reasonable prices, the park and stadium face significant criticism regarding accessibility and restroom facilities. The riverfront trails provide a pleasant natural escape, but the river's appearance and advisories against consuming fish detract from its appeal for some.
"We went to watch the growlers play. Great seats. Good food and drink. Service was great! The only thing.... If you're traveling with an elderly person (or a kid) there's only one bathroom at the back of the stadium. Don't think you can go on your way out because there's no restroom at the front. The only time that would be an issue is if you're with someone slow.
We did have a fun time and the growlers won!"

"Haven't been since they were the Kodiaks. Very impressed with what I saw! Fun, interactive, and busy! The cups for the beer were a nice size. The food could be better but it was still good! Tickets were reasonably priced and I bought a shirt. Definitely sit on the first base side if it's a night game! It was 🥵 but I will definitely head back soon!"
Matthew Plantenga
"It was a very dirty looking river. Nothing really amazing or spectacular about this park. Also do not eat the fish from the river!!"
