What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Cliff Drive for its natural beauty, recreational opportunities for biking and jogging, and the enchanting holiday light display. While many find it a safe and enjoyable escape, some express concerns about safety in surrounding areas or after dark. Overall, it's a cherished local spot for outdoor activity and seasonal festivities.
"I jog here and bike here several times a week. A lot of reviews are people really fearful, but I've lived here for 6 years and have never felt unsafe except when there was a stray dog issue right after covid. I frequently am here as a lone woman jogger and I've never been bothered or harassed. I frequently see people of all ages, including many elderly people and families, walking here, biking here etc. I feel safe taking my dog here (on a leash) or going solo. It's a great connector to the River Market if you've got the fitness.
I do bring pepper spray if I'm jogging in the dark, but I would do that if I was jogging alone in the dark near Loose Park too lol. If you see a problem call 311 or use the app and report it. The park rangers are great and the city will fix problems if they know about them. I've never seen a street light I've reported take more than 48 hours to repair."

"The beginning is quite nice and then you are blocked from entering/ driving through to the other end. Went to other end and it is filled with homeless"
