"Little hiking and exploring gem.... i just hate that the road being closed makes the drive longer than necessary"

"A hidden gem that I'm glad I found. Attached a few pic for others to see. As of 5/3/2020 there is no real water in the ponds, creek bed, or swamp below the prairie area. There is a main path to follow but I prefer to walk through the long prairie grasses to see what else is around. Spooked up pheasants during my walk last Wednesday. If you just sit on some of the large rocks out there and be patient you will hear everything come alive. Go check it out!"

My Time Outdoors

"This place is AWESOME ! I saw whitetail deer, tracks from a plethora of wildlife, and tall prarie grasslands. A large beaver pond and a small cave, with small wildlife tracks leading into it. Two small frozen over ponds. A simple to read and understand sign, detailing the botany and ecology."
