"If you're looking for a unique, alternative beach experience and don’t mind a bit of a hike, Kehena Beach is a must-see. Just come prepared for nature in its raw form—and an open-minded crowd."

"The beach itself is beautiful. A few important things to note:
1. If you are staying on the Kona side, don't drive all the way here for this. Beautiful, but you have nice beaches there as well.
2. Clothing optional beach. You WILL see nudity. If this bothers you, don't go.
3. No facilities and minimal parking area. It is a small beach."
Nomad Life
"Really cool black sand beach - good for swimming or lounging.
BE WARNED: It is a steep path to get down from the parking area to the beach. This spot is not handicapped accessible at all.
Additionally, there were a number of nude swimmers and a couple with an off-leash dog - depending on your viewpoint, those may be good or bad features.
There are also no bathrooms or any other facilities on the site."
