"This museum is WONDERFUL!!!! Growing up in Galveston County, it was very neat to hear the history of League City, early settlers, the Chisolm Trail and to learn all about the Texas Longhorn and the Butler family! I highly recommend, we were there for two hours. I could have stayed for another hour easy, so many artifacts and history! Our tour guide was fabulous and he was so knowledgeable about the Longhorns and gave a great presentation throughout the tour!"

"This is definitely one of my favorite parks. It's the Butler Longhorn Museum in League City and I've been coming here for about 20 years. It's got a pond put a small island in the middle with an outlet that leads to Clear Creek. It's got a jungle gym and playground for the kids and a beautiful garden on the side of the mansion. They do wedding receptions and events here they also have an art gallery on the third floor of the mansion. There's fishing and plenty of wildlife in the water as well as a ton of beautiful flowers and plants. There's a small grapefruit Orchard on the side as well as an outdoor kitchen and barbecue setup. This one is a must visit. It's great for the adults and the children alike. The park is always clean and well-kept there is plenty of parking and picnic areas with tables and benches. And you can't miss the beautiful view of the water. I highly recommend this are cats one of my personal favorites."
