"Beautiful and iconic house in the Kennebunkport area. Nice for taking a photograph while passing through the area but not sure exactly what the big hype is about for this place. Yes beautiful architecture and gorgeous neighborhood, but on a recent visit we stopped by and it was a totally empty, with not much sign of life. I do hope it’s still in operation but very curious that this is listed on many tourist and trip advisor listings as a “must see” attraction."
