"Amazingly beautiful place. Love the mission to conserve butterflies and nature! Loved seeing the butterflies, flamingos, birds, and the tortoise. Inspired me to recreate a place like this one day!
If you have small children you may need to carry them or use a stroller (if allowed) as you cannot touch any of the wildlife!!! Or worth saving the trip for when they are older."

"My favorite place in Key West. This butterfly conservatory has a museum, gift shop, and a large greenhouse space full of butterflies, birds, and gorgeous tropical foliage. The winding path takes you through the full greenhouse space, with countless butterflies flitting about, sometimes landing on a hat or shoulder. From one step to the next, there's more to see. There are dozens of different types of flowering plants, aroids, and trees, which provide a natural environment for every part of their tiny ecosystem. Several benches are placed through the space, and provide an opportunity to rest and take in the views. Upon exiting, you enter the gift shop, which has handmade art and jewelry, as well as preserved specimens on offer. Your ticket is good for all day entry, and you can go through the conservatory as many times as you want. I could spend all day here."

"I have been wanting to visit for 3 years! What an amazing experience!! This was my 1st stop in Key West and definitely did not disappoint. The butterflies are everywhere flying all around you. It was such a cool experience. One landed on my back where my hat was hanging and the employee helped get it around so I could carry it throughout the gardens. The flamingos were so cool and even did a happy dance for everyone to see. I would 100% recommend."
