What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently rave about Key West eco tours, particularly highlighting the exceptional service from captains and crew who are knowledgeable and engaging. The opportunity to see dolphins and explore vibrant reefs is a major draw, with many praising the pristine sandbars as a highlight. While most experiences are overwhelmingly positive, some may find certain tours to be more focused on relaxation than high-energy activities.
"We used honest eco for a dolphin, snorkel, sandbar trip - it was absolutely AMAZING! The crew (Captain Patrick and Sam) were very easy to talk to and made the trip very enjoyable! Saw some local dolphins they are familiar with, the snorkel was fun and the sandbar was absolutely stunning! The fruit provided was fresh and hits different on the water. We brought our own cooler and a few extra snacks. We are also divers so we were able to bring our own equipment for snorkeling which was nice as well! I can’t recommend honest eco enough. We were staying at the marker and it’s a 3 minute walk on the boardwalk to their boats. Would choose them 10x over the “bigger” names that just shuttle the masses around."

"We did the Dolphin Watch, Snorkel, Sandbar experience and it was so much fun! Patrick and Sam were excellent hosts that made sure everyone had a great time and they taught us all about the native dolphins in the keys. The boat was comfortable and lovely. This was one of the only tours available that provided healthy snacks instead of the typical snorkel and drink tours.
We saw the most beautiful family of dolphins right away and then went on to the snorkel trip. The reef was bursting with fish and sea life. We saw lobsters, barracudas and even a beautiful nurse shark!
This was more than we could have ever asked for. Definitely a great time for couples, friends, or families! Highly recommend Honest Eco Tours for a wonderful experience in the Keys!"

"We were looking for a snorkeling and sandbar experience in Key West that focused on quality and relaxation—without the loud party scene—and Honest Eco was the perfect choice.
As the last family-owned touring company in Key West, they bring a level of care and authenticity that’s hard to find. Andrew and Heather were incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating info and local history as we made our way to the snorkeling spot and sandbar.
Fresh fruit and filtered water were provided, and while it’s not a booze cruise, adult beverages were welcome after snorkeling—you can BYOB or purchase on board.
The sunset was absolutely breathtaking. It turned out to be a perfect day on the water and worth every penny!"
