What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reviews for Key West wedding planning services are mixed, with many couples praising the professionalism, organization, and beautiful execution of their ceremonies, especially for destination weddings. However, some clients have experienced disorganization, miscommunication, and issues with incorrect decor or forgotten vows, leading to disappointment.
"We used Say Yes in Key West to plan our destination wedding in Key West and we could not have been more pleased with the job they did. The process of booking our ceremony, choosing the decorations and finally the execution on the day of was so laid back and non-stressful, it was exactly what my wife and I were looking for. The ceremony that they did for us at Ft. Zachary was exactly what we wanted. The flowers, the arch, the color of the sashes, everything was so perfect. They did such a wonderful job. The ambiance was exactly what we wanted and Kirsten, our day of wedding coordinator, did such a great job making sure everything was setup right and that everyone was in the right place. They really made our special day so beautiful!"

"Sent pictures of bridemaid dress weeks before wedding and ordered a turquoise tulle n sashes. My bouquet came with a baby blue ribbon (not the right colour) which concerned me so they went and changed everything to mint green (not the color) last minute. Did not hear from them, just to order extra decor etc, I had to email the itinerary to them as to how and when our group would arrive and depart, on the day of wedding the photographer called me and asked if I had a coordinator lol, the dinner/reception planner at resort was much more helpful . 😢. Also the officiator they assigned us forgot that we wanted to say our own vows😢. He apologized but we didn’t get to do that. They just seem disorganized altogether 😢"

"Very professional service, we appreciated his kindness and efficiency, he was able to adapt to our request (we were preparing our wedding from France) and we were pleasantly surprised by the result.
On the wedding day, Slava was present by our side and very attentive to our needs. Thank you for everything Slava!!!"

For Different Travelers
Tailored advice for your travel style
👨👩👧 Families with Kids
For accommodations, look for resorts with pools and family suites. The relaxed vibe of Key West means kids can often feel comfortable and included in the festivities. Ensure your wedding timeline allows for breaks and downtime, as the Florida heat can be intense.
💍 Couples Planning from Afar
Many Key West venues and vendors are experienced in working with remote couples. They understand the need for clear documentation and timely updates. Trusting your planner and vendors is key, and they will work diligently to bring your dream wedding to life, even from miles away.
🥂 Budget-Conscious Couples
Look into venues that offer all-inclusive packages or allow you to bring in your own vendors to save money. A smaller guest list or a more casual reception at a restaurant with a private room can also help manage expenses. Prioritize what's most important to you – perhaps a stunning sunset ceremony or a specific photographer – and allocate your budget accordingly.

Choosing Your Key West Wedding Planner
When interviewing planners, inquire about their experience with different venue types, their approach to problem-solving, and what their day-of coordination services entail. Some planners offer tiered packages, from full-service planning to day-of coordination, so choose the level of support that best suits your needs and budget. A good planner will guide you through vendor selection, contract negotiation, and timeline management, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience.

It's also wise to visit potential venues in person if possible, or take advantage of virtual tours and detailed photo galleries provided by the venues and your wedding planner.
