Visitors rave about the Wai Koa Loop Trail's beauty and unique features, calling it a 'delightful hike' with an 'otherworldly feel.' While the trail can get quite muddy, especially after rain, the historic stone dam, rope swing, and serene Buddha statue are consistently highlighted as rewarding discoveries. "It was a beautiful hike, pretty flat for the most part. It was kind of muddy in several areas, but it had rained a lot the days prior, so it was expected. It was a calming, beautiful walk through the forest. Ended at an amazing garden and dam. Definitely worth the hike. They also have a very nice dog park where you park. You do need to fill out a form using the QR code on the board at the beginning of the trail because it is private land that the owners allow the public to use, but it took less then a minute to fill out. 🙂 there's also a random mini golf course as well, down a separate trail about 20 minutes or so into hike. Didn't go there, can't give details for it."

"There is a lot to love about this trail but there is also a lot of mud! The trail is very flat and level and most places. We went after a rainy week and encountered quite a bit of mud. But when we finally got to the stone dam, wow! It was so worth it! When you feel like giving up keep going! There were kids swinging on a rope and dropping into a pond of nice temperature water. I took my boots off and soaked my feet and it felt so amazing. This is a real Eden. By the way by my measurement the stone dam is a mile and a half, one way."

"There are many amazing views on the island from hiking but this was the most fun we’d had hiking here. We went in a rainy day and the trail was great the whole way through. The enchanted forest is an awesome tree tunnel, big open fields to walk through, a Buddha statue in front of bamboo, the dam itself, and a cool rope swing swimming area above. Visitors are required to submit a waiver via QR code at the entrance."
