"We wasn't happy about renting a apartment From Sam who keeps 100.00 of deposit 1 we was allowed to smoke in our room but he complained about it and said it smelled! 2 he said the blind was New and it was not new blinds the was dirty and they had sun damage you just touched them and they was falling apart! That's not new the man acted like we knew nothing! We improved the room and he had to complain about that to when we moved in the mattress Was Black so we got a new one and the old one was disgusting ! We left it behind old one was a bad smell to ! And he had to complain about my painting the Kitchen and the door I told Sam and John about replacing the door many times and the AC was to small for the space Sam is so tight with his money Sam says he furnished apartments we got our own Table and chairs a very nice set we improved his motel leaving the table and chairs a new 4 poster bed frame and mattress we put nice things in there to improve it and he complains about everything he said he was going to raise our rent ! And oh yeah the sewer roaches was so bad and so was the small ones was just as Bad and the floor was patched work together I feel we didn't deserve to be treated the way he treated me And Joe Sam needs to stop and invest in fixing the place up and make it worth the 850.00 he was charging us! For the month Honestly Sam and Monica need to sale the motel and they do nothing to improve it and they are always complaining about little thing ! Because personally , the place needs to be condemned and they have a pool and refuse to fix I'm about ready to take him small claim court but it's waste of my time! We found a new place we smoke outside and we pay less and we are very happy I will never recommend anybody stay at this motel it's was so filthy.! and disgusting! And refrigerator wasn't working it frozen everything and water on the floor every morning!WE ALSO PROMISED A MICROWAVE When we moved into our apartment Thank you! And Sam and Monica and You wonder why you get bad reviews You expect everything to be perfect! We improved that place our apartment so what if I painted the Kitchen It looked Better but that's my opinion I don't agree with keeping 100.00 of Our Deposit so I wish you the best of luck Because I never tell people to at this dive ! Sale the motel and retire Because you're not improving Kingman it's a eye scorer you don't do anything to improve the motel and that's sad"

"The vintage vibe is amazing! Very tastefully decorated, with every detail placed in the room giving thought to the room's theme.
My husband and I had booked a room online, to stay a night on our way to the Grand Canyon.
We felt very welcome upon our arrival. Our room was well-appointed to the theme of Route 66. It was also immaculate! The room was set up to welcome their guests: the lights were on, the TV was on, the AC running to a perfect temperature. This to us, was an amazing display of hospitality; the room was pleasantly scented and that also added to the feeling of arriving into a home, away from home. That extra-mile is an amazing gesture!
The furniture and floors were of quality and very tasteful. The bathroom was stunning with what seemed to be original fixtures.
I gave this room four stars instead of five, only because the hotel guest laundry room was inoperable at the time; and because we had been traveling for days, we had planned to wash some clothes during our stay there; because by that time we were pretty far in our road travel, and is rare to find a self-serve laundry service on the premises, at any venue, anyhow.
The couple running the venue cheerfully explained where a nearby laundromat is located, and suggested a few good eateries as well; and patiently answered any other questions we had.
We will return again, as this was a nice experience for a pair of exhausted senior travelers!"

"We stayed at the El Trovatore Motel as a quick overnight stop on our way to Sedona—and what a gem! The owners, Monica and Sam, were so welcoming! Sam gave us a local map, pointed out the best spots around town, and delightfully shared the motel’s rich Route 66 history.

They’ve put so much heart into restoring this place into a fun, art deco-style motel with themed rooms. You can really feel the love! It’s officially on my list for future road trips. Don’t miss it if you’re passing through Kingman!"
