When you go to Portsmouth Nh today they still have the Japanese cherry blossoms that were given to the Americans as a gift for helping with the peace treaty .

I learned a great deal and much of the history I had heard on my River cruise was reintroduced here at this Museum. If you're interested in local area history and/or military history, this is a must visit place to add to your itinerary. It's easy to find with plenty of available parking. The volunteers are delightful and they add present day information to the current museum exhibits."
