The stunning contrasts of ice, water, and greenery create 'otherworldly' landscapes. While a splurge, most find it incredibly worthwhile. Some find ATV routes challenging but rewarding.
"We didn't make it, but the fat bike ride out was fantastic. We rented biked from downtown bike rental in Anchorage. Pete was fantastic. He opened early and hooked us up with some great bikes and even threw in a tailgate pad for free. The trip out was a little difficult to route in the beginning but was easy to follow once you get across the first creek crossing."

"Visiting this glacier by helicopter was one of the coolest experiences and well worth the price. If you do visit have your phone ready because every direction you turn is like a different work of art. We went at the end of August and half of the landscape is Ice and the other half is lush greenery, the contrasts of the green trees and deep blue water, against the white ice with black veins of mountain debris is so beautiful. It felt like a different planet."

"Sharing the beauty of Knik Glacier Alaska where every ATV/Quads/4-wheeling enthusiasts’ final destination after hours of river-crossing, trail-maze finding, mud-splurging, and 4-wheeler snorkeling.
You’ll get to race to a run-way looking area too where glider planes flies low…
Berries along the way… when you get stuck, fellow 4-wheelers will stop to help.. most of the area have no hotspot for your cellphone… so, it’s more fun to go in groups."
