What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Sequoyah Hills Park's beautiful riverfront trails and serene atmosphere, making it a favorite for walks, picnics, and even proposals. The scenic beauty and peaceful environment are consistently praised, though some note the limited number of restrooms.
"Beautiful park right outside downtown Knoxville. It runs along the river with areas to picnic, relax, walk/run.
I had some time to kill so went for a walk along the river. It was a beautiful sunny day and there were a lot of couples picnicking.
On this particular day, I saw some people hiding behind some trees spying on one of these couples. Next thing I know the guy gets down on one knee and proposes. His gf, now Fiancé, bursts into tears with joy. The people hiding then jump out to congratulate her and she is so shocked and happy. I scurry along not to get in the way of the moment so be careful for all those couples out there."

"Great place to have a picnic or to go for a walk! I really enjoy the great view of the lake. There are several very nice par benches to sit down on and enjoy the great atmosphere. Sequoyah Park is one of my favorite parks in all of Knoxville. Definitely check it out if you are in the area! Highly recommended! 100 A"

"Beautiful! I do wish there were more bathrooms tho. The only bathroom I’ve been able to find is the very first parking lot on the left when you go to this park."
