A National Park worker named Cathy — an absolute gem — let us know that the view of the sunset was similar at each check point past the park entrance and that we didn’t need to go all the way to the summit unless we wanted to. And she was more than right! It was less busy by a mile. When you stop here, make sure to follow the trail around the mountain to view the crater. I’ve never seen anything like it 🤯"
