"A nice little experience. We were already in town for the Lego convention so we came over to the museum to check it out. Iโd allow about an hour to go through it. Itโs a nice add on to a trip if youโre already down there. We go down to Lafayette every couple of months to hit up the RC shop so this can also be a semi regular stop. Parking wasnโt the greatest but there was a lot that we found, I believe the parking was less than $4, $3.80 if I remember correctly. The gift shop was lacking so donโt promise the kids the world. Across the street, at the rear of the museum, is the childrenโs museum. The childrenโs museum was nice and would be good for younger children, probably up to 6 years of age. A sidenote, the science museum doesnโt accept American Express so plan on a different form of payment. The lot that we parked in also didnโt take American Express we had to use a Mastercard."

"We were very disappointed to learn that groups under ten are not eligible for field-trip rates, and that our visit could not be considered a field trip. As a result, our group of special-needs students was required to pay full admission.
We respectfully requested an exception given the unique circumstances and the meaningful impact that a planetarium experience could have for these studentsโmany of whom may never have another opportunity to attend. Unfortunately, no accommodations were made.
We hope the policy might be reconsidered in the future to better support small groups and students with special needs who greatly benefit from experiences like this."

"Museum itself was very nice for the most part. Lots of fascinating things to learn about the history of the area and the world. However, the receptions at the front lobby desk was extremely rude and had an attitude. Then we were charged full price for two adults and a TWO year old child, only to find out that the planetarium is not open on weekdays besides Fridayโฆ.after the fact that I paid. In total i paid $44 with tax again for two adults and one 2 yr old for a 30 min walk soooooo yea i would save your money with this one. Or wait till itโs convenient for them to show the planetarium."
