"Fascinating and beautiful! Super rugged. It's not a long hike, but coming out is more like a climb than a hike. I would only venture down with proper footwear (flip flops are a definite NO!). Geology is amazing, there's a large blow hole, could watch the waves for hours here. Again, good footwear is a MUST! I agree with someone else... Not a good place for young kids, or dogs."

"You need to time this with the low tide. The hike down is a little sketchy but worth it. Once at the tidepools use extreme caution. Never turn your back on the ocean. That said the pools are deep. Lots of marine life. Great experience. Not recommended for small children. Best time is May to September as the ocean is calmer. A few people have lost their lives there so treat it with respect."
