What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
This AMC offers a unique dine-in experience within Disney Springs, featuring comfortable, sometimes heated, reclining seats and a menu of movie-time favorites. While the premium Dolby Cinema auditoriums are a highlight, some visitors find the dine-in ordering and service inconsistent, and the overall cost can be high for the experience provided.
"This used to be an amazing experience. I'm talking, fancy, with servers and everything (mind you, this was YEARS ago). What a disappointing experience.
After check-in, it's confusing where/how to order the food. Asked for help. Then had to ask for help how/where to get the drinks. Was told the food would be delivered.
Getting in the theater, the trays were swivel - and kept moving at the lightest touch. I will say this, the seats were very comfortable and even had a heating option.
The food was delivered by someone who did NOT want to be there and just kind of pilled both the foods on my one tray (since my seat is the one that ordered).
My burger was the one with brie for it sounded intersting. The beef, if that's what it was, was incredibly chewy. The texture reminded me of fried spam... The movie was about to start, so didn't leave the theater. I just ate it. The loaded tater tots were good and crispy.
My niece got chicken tenders and seemed to like them. For the price, the experience was horrible. This does not meet Disney standards (it should because it's on Disney property). I would not go back again, which is a shame since this was a part of my childhood."

"I didn’t like this place very much. It’s pretty average for an AMC plus the amount of kids that go here. This is a two-story AMC so that counts for something. The staff was nice, but I got false info about a post credits scene.
In addition to the false info, the theaters were also very dirty. My seat had popcorn butter on it and that definitely wasn’t a highlight. Overall, I don’t recommend this theater besides the fact that it’s on Disney property."

"Well the movie quality and sound is great! The food once we got it was also fine. But why even have the kiosk have a delivery option if you have to pick it up from the window anyways.
also, this is AMC, where are the AMC reclining seats???? It seems other theaters have nicer seating situations, but not mine. And I don't have a choice, i would have picked a better theater but his is all they had for my particular movie. and mind you, this is at disney?!?!? Also, why can i hear the movie next door?? they want a true cinematic experience but i might as well be watching the other movie next door .... staff is nice."

For Different Travelers
Tailored advice for your travel style
👨👩👧 Families with Kids
However, be mindful of the pricing, as the cost for tickets and food can add up quickly for a family. Some reviews mention a high number of children, which might mean a livelier, potentially noisier, atmosphere. Consider choosing showtimes during off-peak hours or opting for auditoriums away from the main thoroughfares if possible.
💑 Couples & Date Nights
Enjoying cocktails and a meal while watching a film provides a unique shared experience. The location within Disney Springs also means you can easily extend your date night with a stroll or a drink at one of the many bars and lounges before or after your movie.
💰 Budget Travelers
Look for any available discounts, such as those for Disney cast members, or consider if an AMC Stubs A-List membership makes sense if you plan on seeing multiple movies during your trip. Bringing your own snacks is generally not permitted, so factor in the cost of concessions if you choose not to dine-in.

The Dine-In Experience: What to Expect
However, reviews suggest the execution can be inconsistent. Some patrons find the ordering process via kiosks or apps confusing, and the delivery of food can sometimes be slow or haphazard. While the seats are generally described as comfortable, with some offering heating options, the overall service experience might not always meet the high expectations set by its Disney Springs location. It's advisable to go in with realistic expectations and perhaps order appetizers first to gauge the service.
Despite potential service hiccups, the ability to enjoy a meal during a film is a significant draw. For those looking to combine entertainment with dining, it offers a convenient, albeit pricier, alternative to eating before or after the movie. The convenience factor is particularly appealing after a long day at the theme parks, allowing for a relaxed evening.
Dolby Cinema: A Premium Viewing Option
The seating in Dolby Cinema auditoriums is a major highlight. Expect plush, reclining seats that offer exceptional comfort, and some even come with a built-in heating feature, perfect for those cooler Florida evenings or simply for added luxury. This premium seating, combined with the top-tier audio-visuals, makes for a truly memorable movie outing.
It's important to note that Dolby Cinema tickets are typically more expensive than standard showings. However, for film enthusiasts or those seeking a special treat, the enhanced comfort and cinematic quality often justify the added cost. Booking these seats in advance is highly recommended due to their popularity.
Navigating Disney Springs & The Theater
Parking at Disney Springs is convenient with multi-story garages offering ample space, and it's free of charge. This makes arriving by car straightforward. For those staying at Disney resorts, complimentary bus transportation to Disney Springs is available, adding to the ease of access.
Inside the theater, while the dine-in service is a key feature, some reviews suggest that the ordering and delivery process can be a bit confusing. It's helpful to familiarize yourself with the menu and ordering system beforehand, or don't hesitate to ask the staff for assistance. The layout of the theater, including the two-story design, is also a notable feature.
