Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Lake Mead for its vastness and the unique experience of exploring it by boat, allowing access to secluded spots. The desert scenery and the opportunity for water sports are highlights. However, some find the limited facilities and the unsettling discoveries of human remains concerning.
"Very impressive place to see and visit. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is reasonable priced and plenty of parking lots along the road to take pictures."

"It's always a flex to have a bestie with a boat, and that's my bestie! Being on Lake Mead is one thing, but exploring it on a boat is a completely different experience. You can go to places deep within the lake that you'd never be able to reach without a boat or a jet ski.
We were able to set up our own little private spot with no one around, grab some drinks and snacks, and just relax while having great catch-up conversations. While we were relaxing, the teens opted for jumping off a cliff and doing some water sports.
Life is good. I just hope my bestie and I make it to be old ladies and are still doing this with our families."

"This was a beautiful lake. Wish we had more time to explore. People at the nature center were very helpful. Next time, we would probably book a boat tour. It looked like fun."
