"I have yet to find an Ohio State Park that I have something bad to say about!
We visited this park while in the area. It was in the early spring, so the beach area was deserted. But, it gave us a chance to walk along the trails and for my son to play Pokemon Go.
There is a very nice playground and shaded picnic area that was being used by several families.
The beach was nice to walk along because the lake was at its very low winter level. On the map it looked like we were walking in water!
The picnic area was very well maintained. There is a short storybook trail and a very nice amphitheater. Probably one of the nicest amphitheaters I have seen in a park in awhile.
There are not many trails in this side of the lake. But it does continue on towards the dam.
There were plenty of folks fishing.
This park is about 30 minutes from my house, so we will be back Especially to get my passport book stamped!"

"Beautiful State Park. Lots to do and see. Lots of birds flying and swimming about. It can be a little loud since Interstate 76 runs right across the lake."

"Took my fur baby swimming! We loved it!"
