What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Lake Natoma for its beautiful scenery, calm waters ideal for paddleboarding and kayaking, and family-friendly atmosphere. The surrounding hiking and biking trails are also a significant draw. However, some concerns have been raised regarding water quality for swimming and occasional issues with noise and public conduct.
"Very nice, clean and pleasant place. Good parking, wheelchair accessible, kayaking available, remote boat racing. Only one table, too many ducks (don't feed them)."
Angela Andrade
"Great place for kayaking or paddle boarding."
Andrew Dumm
"Very nice lake for paddle boarding. Lots of places to relax and take in nature. It was nice to decompress and meditate in the serene environment. Yes I did encounter many people with portable sound devices. I didn’t allow it to bother me too much. But I was wondering why the park rangers that were there did not enforce noise nuisance code violations. It’s one thing to casually listen to music. But some of these people really did push the limits of tolerable noise levels. On another note, I found the open use of marijuana unacceptable in this family oriented park. Having read other reviews these violations are becoming more prevalent. Anyway, it a nice lake/park."
