"Great local place for a nice paddle. I kayak or paddleboard here nearly every weekend. The small islands provide protection from the traffic in the channel and make for a calm paddle.
You can put in at Bryant Park or there is a kayak launch north of the bridge. There is no parking at the kayak launch so be prepared to leave you stuff unattended if alone.
I always see tons of iguanas, racoons on the golf course, and sometimes snook. If you catch the tides right, the shore of the islands come alive with crabs and puffers.
I love this easy, relaxing paddle."
