What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Guests often praise The Terrace Hotel Lakeland for its exceptional customer service, historic charm, and prime downtown location near Lake Mirror. Many highlight the friendly staff and the pleasant lake views. However, some visitors have expressed disappointment regarding the lack of a pool, limited restaurant hours, and occasional issues with in-room amenities like Nespresso machines or hot water.
"During the time that my floors were being completed at home, I stayed here with my family The stay was exceptional It felt like home. The breakfast was excellent and seasoned! I love places that actually season their foods 🥰 I was there every day. I was captivated by the view of the water. Located in the center of downtown, within walking distance of all the restaurants and shops. Every single worker we encountered was incredibly kind. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Good customer service. I enjoyed the complimentary valet; everything was clean and in decent repair. The couch in my room is a pull-out, and the seat cushion is very thin, pleather, and uncomfortable to sit on. The restaurant has good food but no room service. I had to pay downstairs, but they offered to bring it to the room when it was ready. It seems like an easy fix to pay online and have it dropped off. There's no pool or hot tub, just a gym. Being so far from the beach, this was disappointing. The lake view was beautiful but only one window out of five faced the lake even though they charged extra for the lake view. The other windows faced an old parking lot."

"I stay at this hotel often. I absolutely love this hotel! The only reason why I’m giving it a 4 star review is because the last three times I’ve stayed there. The Nespresso machine in each of those rooms did not work. If you’re going to spend the extra money for a high-end coffee machine, maintaining them is important to me."
