Pineapple Festival 2025! 🍍 This was my second year performing hula and I'm so grateful to be a part of this hālau. Every week I look forward to this hour of movement, laughter and wahine companionship ... especially coming from a house of three boys (four if you count the cat!) 🐈 I had to catch up on the routines after missing four months of practice when Silas was born -- rewatching videos, stud...

"Dole Park - Lānaʻi City

We visited Dole Park today after spending some time at the nearby cat sanctuary, and it was a worth a visit. The park itself is beautifully maintained, with large grassy areas perfect for relaxing or having a picnic. The towering Cook pines give it a peaceful, shaded atmosphere. What really stands out is the charming perimeter lined with local shops, restaurants, and small businesses.

"Great park!! Especially nice in the middle of town across from the restaurants and with plenty of parking. There's a softball field and playground equipment for kids, and a nice area to rest and hang out"

"Dole Park is simply a square of land with a bunch of tall trees in the center of Lana'i City. It is a great place to take a walk and unwind. There are picnic tables throughout. You can grab lunch at one of the local restaurants nearby or pickup some food at one of the two grocery stores surrounding the park. Relax and reminisce on what Lana'i must have been like when the island was in full swing of pineapple production."

The towering canopy provides ample shade, making it a pleasant place to relax even on a warm day. Instagram

The presence of these magnificent trees gives Dole Park a distinct atmosphere, setting it apart from typical Hawaiian landscapes. They contribute to the park's serene and almost otherworldly feel, offering a beautiful backdrop for photos and a peaceful environment for visitors to unwind. The visual impact of these pines is frequently mentioned by those who visit, highlighting their importance to the park's character. Instagram
