What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Boulevard Pool for its stunning Las Vegas Strip views, vibrant atmosphere, and unique Dive-In Movies event. The cocktails and snacks receive positive mentions, and hotel guests appreciate the complimentary access. However, some find shade limited unless a cabana is rented, and the pool can get crowded mid-day.
"It's a nice pool with a vibrant atmosphere. However, the large pool was empty when I visited. And I would love to have some space for swimming.
Instead, I enjoyed my cocktail chilling the small pool, which was good as well.
It gets pretty crowded by the mid-day, so I would recommend coming around 11 a.m. to reserve a chair.
I liked the pool bar with good quality cocktails and quick service."

"May 2025: We stayed at The Cosmopolitan, so access was free, and they provide towels. The pool is refreshing and well-maintained, with fun plastic water chairs and a nice vibe. They have snacks and drinks, and our margaritas were delicious, plus the nachos were a hit!
Shade is limited unless you rent a daybed or cabana, which can get pricey. There’s a wooden gazebo near one of the pools, but for fair-skinned visitors like me, it’s still a bit intense in the sun. Overall, a fun, relaxing pool day if you’re staying at the hotel."

"Decent pool. My complaint is the option for shade is pretty much nonexistant unless you’re some kind of titanium status for Marriott. Umbrellas or something would be nice for the non reserved areas. The pool is shaded but if you want to sit outside of the water you’d better be good with full sun. Not super ideal"

For Different Travelers
Tailored advice for your travel style
👨👩👧 Families with Kids
For families, consider visiting earlier in the day to enjoy the pool before it gets too crowded. The Dive-In Movies event on Mondays can be fun for older children and teens, but it's still a social event with cocktails and a more mature ambiance. Pack plenty of sunscreen and hats, as shade is limited.
💰 Budget Travelers
To save money, consider bringing your own reusable water bottle to refill and limit expensive poolside food and drink purchases. While shade is limited, exploring the hotel's other amenities or finding free entertainment on the Strip might be budget-friendly alternatives for sun protection.
🥂 Couples
Consider booking a daybed or cabana for a more intimate and comfortable experience, allowing you to relax in style without worrying about the sun. The vibrant yet sophisticated atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for couples looking to unwind and enjoy the quintessential Las Vegas poolside scene.

Experiencing Dive-In Movies
While hotel guests enjoy complimentary access, non-hotel guests can purchase tickets, usually around $15, with potential discounts for Las Vegas locals. The experience is enhanced by themed cocktails and elevated concession snacks, making it a memorable way to spend a Vegas evening. It's advisable to check the movie schedule and arrive early to secure a prime viewing spot, especially during peak season.
This event is a fantastic way to enjoy a classic Vegas activity with a twist, blending relaxation, entertainment, and the iconic Strip views. It's a highlight for many visitors looking for something beyond the typical casino floor.
Poolside Comfort and Views
However, shade can be a significant concern. Unless you rent a daybed or cabana, which can be quite pricey, free shaded areas are limited. This is particularly important for visitors sensitive to the sun. Arriving earlier in the day, around 11 AM, is recommended to secure a good spot, potentially closer to the limited shaded gazebos.
Despite the shade limitations, the overall experience is enhanced by attentive staff, a great pool bar serving delicious cocktails and snacks, and the breathtaking backdrop of the Las Vegas skyline, especially at sunset. It's a prime spot to soak up the Vegas sun and enjoy the energetic poolside scene.
